There's A Life Without Him

In the middle of learning how to become a new person and live a new life, there are times when you need to sit back and take a look at what you are dealing with when it comes to your relationships.
So many of us have a tendency to remain in marriages and relationships way to long.
We believe that this situation with this man defines us and makes us who we are as a woman. Society for many years has told women that this is who you are if are single or have a man in your life.
Sadly so many of us have decided that this most certainly must be true and we have defined ourselves based on this information.
We become so engrossed in it that we forget who we are and why we are even alive save for being his "woman" or his "wife".
What are you holding on for? What is the point? Every day feels the same. Every moment you are wondering if this is the day that you will wake up and he is gone. You will no longer have control over the situation.
FACT: You never did
Some of you are out there right now online until 4am in the morning with you little debit card on your desk hoping that if you Google "how to keep your man" that there will be a magic ebook out there that will give you the power to make this person who has shown you time and again that he doesn't truly want the relationship, stay.
FACT: Keep your money , he ain't stayin'
Here is the point.
You need to let him go and see about yourself.
Enough damage has been done, too many years have been lost waiting on shall I say this? Waiting on this man to get some "act right" and he won't.
It is not anything against you at all. So stop blaming yourself for how he has treated you over the years. What you can do however is make a decision to leave. Make a decision to move on with you life.
Yep I said it.
You don't have to stay you don't have to stick around believing that he is the only thing on the earth for you. YOU ARE THE ONLY THING ON EARTH FOR YOU.

When They Start Doing That?

So I was sent a link to take a look at and now everyone wants to take the time to work on their own reality show. Some people need to learn some things.....I have nothing to say but this......I have one coming too but I am actually working on a serious project here that is taking time, money, resources and effort.
All I say to these folks that's putting it out there, please make sure that the video has some quality!

Wait wait I will let YOU be the judge....is this a sign of ratchetness or just "I didn't know this could be done any better?"
Here is what I think...I think that it gets an E for effort right out the box....your thoughts?

The Ten Day Challenge Begins! YOU IN?

I told you that this day was coming right? Well here it is!
THE TEN DAY CHALLENGE has arrived and I want you to be a part of it. It's simple really. You don't have to buy anything, you don't have to subscribe, I am not going to tell you that this is normally $147.00 but for today you can get it for $5.00.
No...I just want to have some folks go through the TEN DAY CHALLENGE with me.
Let me explain. I have some personal goals that I need to get through and the only way that I am going to do that is to give myself some goals to reach in ten day increments until I reach the final goal that I have in mind.

I am going on a cruise in less than 70 days with my cast members from Cullen's Corner, so there are couple of things that I would like to accomplish before that time.
1) I want to drop some weight because I just found out we are shooting a couple videos, there is a photo shoot both group and individual and I am also going to have to be interviewed one on one.
2) I want to make sure that my work online begins to work cohesively rather than one site is doing this or that or this site is over here not being touched.
3) I need to increase the amount of streams of income I have so that I can help my college student relax as she studies.
4) I need to be able to remain centered and at peace along my journey in this life.

Now to some that may not be important but to me right now it is my goal to maintain this order in my life.

The Y've Kemp Show

Oh wow so much is going on right in my life! I can remember when I first started this blog and was just doing it to make sure that I kept myself connected to what was going on in the world.
When I started it was myself and my three daughters and my honey at the time. Then here came our son Kevin Jr. or KJ.
I went on to become a radio dj and on air personality and now I have a new logo, new show called Cullen's Corner with friends from around the United States and I just started broadcasting in the UK Monday - Friday.
Now I hope you guys are ready for this. I officially have begun a series called the "The Y've Kemp Show"
Talk about excited! I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I got the offer to do it virtually and have some networks interested in picking it up! You guys this is an entire new arena for me but you know what ? I am up for the challenge totally!

Single Ladies Gets A Predictable Turn

Ok so you know I told you I would try to keep up with Single Ladies this season. Kind of been hard to do with me moving into a new house, creating the new reality show and starting the new show in the UK, that has been a challenge but I got a chance to it last night.
Let me just say this....the show is SO predictable. I'm sorry I could not help my self but I had to say it.
I mean if Keisha did not know that the British Accent was a fake and gave up the goodies cause he was going a way ....ugh come on really? That was so evident from the beginning.
The predictable thug that shows up for Raquel? Predictable you bring in a the working brother for the rich girl. Lastly lets talk about April finding out her ex husband is now the boo thang of the mayor's ex wife! Yeah the mayor she slept with in the first season.
Ok Ok am I asking too much of this show for there to be substance?
Should I just keep on watching when I can to see the latest clothes and outfits that the cast is wearing?
Yeah ...let's just keep doing that....let that be my guilty pleasure for the summer of for however long this season will last.
But I will still keep supporting VH1's Single Ladies .......care to join me?
