Toni Braxton ...Makes MY Heart

I have only a few words to say about Ms. Toni Braxton. This new song I just heard a few weeks ago is enough for me to want to talk about. My LORD I had to listen to it about five times and I knew "THAT'S A HIT!"
In terms of music for 2010 this is turning out to be a great year. First Sade, now Toni? Talent has returned I am doing flips over here.
I'm not going to do a whole lot of talk about her previous projects I just want you to see what 40 looks like ok? That's it and how you can keep rolling and doing what you wanna do regardless cause she has been through some stuff ok?

Should Kendra Wilkinson's Sex Tape Sell?

So I just heard the Kendra Wilkinson is selling this sex tape. Wait, wait, hold up was that Kim Kardashian? No no I think that was Paris Hilton.
No I think that was Kate Gosselin! No no I have no idea who it was but someone is selling booty tapes and making a killing.
According to popeater.com she is already profiting from pre sales of her doing the do with someone.
Now here I go with my rant, rave and utters and that would be this. Why do we care about this?
Hoo Haa's are hoo haa's ok? Boobs are boos, and really sex is sex. After reading this I was outdone. You mean to tell me that we are taking time to look at this child have sex with someone in all kinds of interesting positions? How low can you go is the question of the day for me. I mean really I feel like Ludacris when I say that but why again is this an important deal?
I understand that mothers have to find ways to make money but come on now. Can she use her other skills like ummm can she type? Can she check emails or be an executive assistant? Ooooh no can't do that that may be too much work for her. I know I know I sound like a hateful hater right now. Really I'm not.
I am tickled that we belittle ourselves as women and then want and think we should command respect in this country.
I am curious as well as a wife why would you want to put your husband out there like that as well? Would there not be a shred of "I can't do this to my husband" thought going on?
Wow.....my thoughts on this are all over the place. I think what gets me the most is that moms and women like me we get out there and work hard to get the things that we have and don't ask for people to peek up our skirts to make money.
All I can do is just shake my head cause no matter what I say, she will sell it, the dang video will sell, she will make millions and there is nothing this rant, rave or utter can do about it.

Are You There Yet Course Is Now Available!

I have been doing all I can to make like easier over here but you I have learned there is really no such thing. I have made an attempt to slow down but then how do you do that when you really want everyone to know what you know about life?
You can't really. You can't sit by and let people just beat up on themselves and not know that there is a truth out there that you know about and that you want to share with everyone.
So let me tell you what I have been up to.
After about 17 years of quietly not sharing my story I finally decided that if I was truly going to be able to go about my life the way I wanted I could not keep how I came out of the darkness to myself.
Nope couldn't do it. Didn't want to do it. It was no longer fair. So I said to myself, now is the time to tell your story and no so much tell it but tell the part where I was able to make some choices in my life that have taken me to the point where I am now.
I created to go with my album which really I should have done some time ago, "Are You There Yet" the personal development course.
Shameful promotion? Yep it is but hey it's my blog and I will blog what I want to. No no seriously.
I have to let you know about it and I have to let you there is a simple website for it. Yes I said simple. There is no fluff, no pictures of me driving around in fancy cars or anything like that or pictures of me standing in front of a mansion that may or may not be mine. HA!
There is only information about the the personal development course you can take.
I bet you're wondering well who told you that you are an authority on helping me be better? I say to you this.
I am here aren't I? Not only am I here I created the program based on where I was a young woman in here twenties with no support from family or friends. I was just out there living my life.
Which brings me back to the Comonique Files and why I created that and why I will continue to bring you those. The Comonique Files are snippets from the life I lived that cause the birth of "Are You There Yet" the album and personal development series.
Once you get into that you will see how it can help you or someone that you know who has dealt with or is dealing issues of low self esteem, self hatred and doubt about who they are. Yep this is for them.
