It is official I think I have a toddler on my hands now! I say that because Mr. Kevon fed himself for the first time today without making a mess of himself. He is almost two and I am really funny about my furniture and making sure that things remain clean so I had been putting him on my lap and feeding him myself.
I know sad right? But who the hell wants to be cleaning floors and smiling like they do on the commercials? I don't and I really don't have time so the best thing is either I or Imani feeds him or his dad when he is home off the ship.
I just had to post photos of my little man feeding himself and with a spoon in a chair all by himself! It was really Lili's plate but she fell asleep and KJ began to help himself so Imani put him in the chair and this is what we got.
I took pictures and sent them to his dad and others. Now for some it's not a big deal to me this is one more step to kindergarten, junior high and prom and college and my old age. This is one more step to a young man with hormones and changing voices and facial hair and being taller than mom.
Damn where did all the time go? Wasn't I just pregnant with him like a year ago? I think I was! Now look. Seems like I didn't take enough time to savor everything or maybe I am taking this waaay outta proportion?
I don't think so.
