Sadly, there are some of us who have not been able to attend the historic event with our new president as well as millions of others who are able to leave their homes and businesses.
What we decided to do was just make this historic and be a part of it right where we are. We sent out a facebook blurb on it and have sent out a text wire if you will for folks to come and hang out with us for a while. We know so many of us will be working but we have decided to open the parking lot and move UHauls out the way to make room for Reverend Staten's flatbed truck and put the flat screen 65 inch tv on it and a sound system.
We have rounded up a bbq grill and food and drink and music so people come and just enjoy the day all day if they want or just stop by and grab a hot dog or nachos or a soda and just not be alone on this special day is really what we are looking for.
I don't think anyone in this part of the country where I am are not doing anything which is amazing to me. But we will be.
I hope we get at least five people or two that will be fine.
