Well I hope you all see my son getting his hair cut here! He was way overdue I tell you so after I logged out at home from work and picked up Lili from school, I decided ok time to take this boy for the long overdue haircut!
So off we went.
I know the first time he got it cut it was like a rite of passage. Most baby boys in my family get their hair cut at the age of one. I didn't his cut til he was about 14 months old. It was like someone was pinching him the way he yelled and screamed and cried. But the guy who cut it was cool and talked to him all the way through that he ended up with an excellent cut. But this one is the best cut by far.
He is a friend of mine that is coming back to this area after cutting hair in Pine Bluff. THAT is a question I wanted to ask like "OK dude what are you doing back here?"
Well I must say Kevin did a great job in cutting KJ's hair. He looks like a citizen!
My little man looks so handsome! Come on admit it you know he does!
I thought about letting his hair grow out and let him wear locks but you know I believe that needs to be his choice and not mine. Yes if you have not figured it out by now I wear locks they akin to Sister locks but they were made with micro braids about four years ago and I absolutely love them. No perming, no major sitting in the middle a salon on a Saturday with a bunch of other women alllllll day so you can get gelled, fried, dyed and laid to the side. Oh no. I just wash and go and for a Black woman that is a hard thing to find. I will post some of my hair one day so that you can see what I mean and how pretty they are.
Ok so back to my little man, he didn't cry fuss or anything he just sat there and let him (Kevin) cut his hair and line it up in the front AND he gave my son a little part! Whoooo hoooo.
So I will most certainly be going back to this guy for him to keep my son looking his best.
